Dr Hartnell lives and works in the Southern Highlands and is terribly committed to the community.

He has already donated and planted over 80,000 daffodils in the public hospital grounds and in Glebe Park.
Another community project which Dr Hartnell is helping to drive is the building of a community Hospice. If successful it will be the only community funded Hospice in Australia. The Hospice is for respite and palliative care. The Hospice will be one of the greatest community projects and Dr Hartnell is now an integral part of ensuring its success. Built for the community by the community. Now who wouldn’t want to be part of that!
